Harry Kardamilas

Clinical Director, MSK & Consultant Physiotherapist

Harry qualified as a Physiotherapist in Greece 2004. Upon qualifying he worked as a Musculoskeletal Sports Physiotherapist in private practices and football clubs.

In 2006 Harry moved to the UK and successfully completed his MSc in Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2008. For the next two years, he developed specialist expertise in the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions working in various NHS Hospitals.

Harry joined Care UK in 2010 as an Extended Scope Practitioner (ESP) helping to establish a new Musculoskeletal Service in Lincolnshire. In 2012 Harry transferred to the Buckinghamshire Musculoskeletal Integrated Care Service (MusIC) as an ESP, whilst also working in a private practice in London as a Spinal Specialist treating solely neck and lower back patients.

In December 2014, Harry stepped up to become the Clinical Lead for the MusIC service, and in June 2017 he became the Clinical Director of the service as a Consultant Physiotherapist. He takes a lead role in the on-going development of the MusIC service utilising highly specialised, evidence based clinical skills to ensure that patient pathways are evidence based, efficient and effective. With additional training in ultrasound imaging and injection therapy he works very closely with our Regional Medical Director delivering injection clinics (including ultrasound guided) and attends multidisciplinary meetings in secondary care in the areas of Pain, Orthopaedics and Rheumatology.
